Women’s basketball falls to Albany Pharmacy

 

The women’s basketball team (1-2) lost to the Albany College of Pharmacy (2-0), 72-60, on Wednesday evening.

The Vikings trailed by four at the half and the second half run fell just short of taking down the defending USCAA National Champions. Samantha Tomeck (Duanesburg/Duanesburg) led the Vikings with 22 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Nikki Cavallo (Tamarac/Troy) recorded 11 points and Sarah Janson (Scotia-Glenville/Scotia) added nine points and eight rebounds in the loss.

The women travel to Herkimer on Saturday for a game at 1 p.m.
