The women’s basketball team (8-11) defeated Clinton Community College (9-7), 63-60, on Thursday evening.
The Vikings trailed by four points at the half, but a big second half rallied behind Raeshelle Frasier (Schenectady/Schenectady) led the Vikings to the win. Frasier posted her 17th double-double of the season, recording 28 points and 19 rebounds. Angelica Smith (Shaker/Latham) added a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Ashley Creighton (Catholic Central/Niskayuna) and Samantha Tomeck (Duanesburg/Duanesburg) chipped in 10 points each in the three-point win.
The women host Mohawk Valley on Saturday at 3 p.m.
