The women’s basketball team (2-3) defeated Broome Community College (2-5) 59-45 on Monday evening.
Arianna Youngs (Lansingburgh/Troy) and Kelly Kell (Kingston/Kingston) got the Vikings off to a good start each recording 10 points in the first half to take a 32-25 lead heading into the break. Hudson Valley jumped out to a big lead and never looked back in the 59-45 victory. Youngs led the team with 16 points while Kell added 14 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and four steals.
The Vikings next game is at home against Albany Pharmacy on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.
