Women’s basketball standout Arianna Youngs (Lansingburgh/Troy) earned First Team All-Region honors on Monday afternoon.
Youngs leads the Vikings with an average of 19.2 points per game — giving her a ranking of fourth in the region — and 107 total steals on the year. She is 10th all-time in Viking history with 442 points in a season, fourth with 107 steals in a season and third in career steals with 189. Youngs had a career-high of 31 points earlier in the season against Adirondack Community College .
The #5 seeded Vikings head to the Region III Tournament at Cayuga Community College to take on #4 Clinton Community College on Friday, March 2 at 5 p.m.
