The women’s bowling team finished first and the men finished fourth at Hilltop Bowl in Speigletown in the teams’ first conference match of the season on Tuesday afternoon.
Megan Rzeszuto (Colonie/Schenectady) led the Vikings with a 190-239-239 for a 668 series. Hannah Rock (Shenendehowa/Waterford-Halfmoon) added a 234 game en route to a 617 series and Teagan Pollock (Catholic Central/Troy) had a 212 game and a 606 series.
Andrew Pelton (LaSalle Institute/Troy) led the men with a 243 game to compile a 691 series. Dean Smith (Mechanicville/Mechanicville) tallied games of 204-204-228 for a 636 series and Kevin Lance (Lansingburgh/Troy) contributed a 227 game and a 632 series.
