The women’s bowling team finished first and the men second at Columbia-Greene Wednesday afternoon in their second conference match of the season.
Down by five pins going into the final game, the ladies came back to beat Schenectady by 72 pins. Mary Passineau (Hoosic Valley/Pittstown) put together games of 226-278-256, for a 760 series as she continues to build on her strong performance from the Allentown tournaments in December. Jennifer Lynch (Colone/Utica) added a 267 in the final game of competition to help rally the Vikings past Schenectady.
The men bounced back today with a strong second place finish behind a great performance from freshman Kevin Lance (Lansingburgh/Troy). Lance compiled games of 236-227-225, for a 688 series.
The men’s and women’s bowling teams travel to the Blue and Orange Classic in Wappingers Falls on Saturday.
