Work by three Fine Arts students included in annual Best of SUNY exhibition

Brianna Becker, Juan Rivera and Kenneth Rutsky, students enrolled in the college’s Fine Arts Program, each had work selected for the Best of SUNY exhibition at the H. Carl McCall SUNY Building in Albany. The annual exhibition features outstanding works by undergraduate and graduate art students at SUNY’s 64 campuses.

Faculty in the Department of Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Digital Media nominate student works for submission to the Best of SUNY exhibition, where they are reviewed with all other entries. These newly, accepted works were all produced in painting classes during the 2020-2021 academic year when all studio art classes had shifted to synchronous remote teaching.

Established by Joe Hildreth in 2002, the SUNY Student Art exhibition showcases the best student works produced on campuses as determined by faculty of each campus art department. Prizes also are awarded. Exhibit viewing hours will be announced; the H. Carl McCall SUNY Building currently is open only by appointment.
