{"id":10095,"date":"2017-11-01T18:13:47","date_gmt":"2017-11-01T22:13:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/work-by-part-time-fine-arts-faculty-members-showcased\/"},"modified":"2017-11-01T18:13:47","modified_gmt":"2017-11-01T22:13:47","slug":"work-by-part-time-fine-arts-faculty-members-showcased","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/work-by-part-time-fine-arts-faculty-members-showcased\/","title":{"rendered":"Work by part-time Fine Arts faculty members showcased"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Richard Garrison, who teaches Two-Dimensional Design in the Department of Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Digital Media, will participate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pulseartfair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pulse Miami Art Fair<\/a> upcoming Dec. 7 to 10 in Miami Beach, FL.<\/p>\n<p>Garrison&#8217;s work will be included in a two-person booth represented by Robert Henry Contemporary, Brooklyn, NY.<\/p>\n<p>One of Garrison&#8217;s works also is included in &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.albany.edu\/museum\/exhibitions\/20160926_wwwy.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">When We Were Young: Rethinking Abstraction from the University at Albany Art Collections (1967-present)<\/a>&#8221; on view through Dec. 16 at the University Art Museum, SUNY Albany. Another of the artist&#8217;s works is reproduced and discussed in &#8220;The Book Of Circles: Visualizing Spheres of Knowledge&#8221; by Manuel Lima (Princeton Architectural Press, 2017).<\/p>\n<p>Paintings by Ryan Parr, who teaches Drawing I, are included in the exhibition <a href=\"http:\/\/albanycentergallery.org\/event\/masters-of-war-curated-by-brian-cirmo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Masters of War<\/a>, curated by Brian Cirmo at the Albany Center Gallery, 488 Broadway in Albany.
