The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on Nov. 28, 2017, at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes are as follows:<\/p>\n
l. Middle States Update ll. Advisement Assessment \u2013 update \u2013 Student survey is out DC Advisement Survey \u2013 is complete and will be sent out soon.<\/p>\n Advisor Satisfaction Survey \u2013 complete and will go out shortly<\/p>\n Dean’s Survey \u2013 Dr. Geehan reiterated that this would be accomplished as a focus group. However after brief discussion, it was decided that it would go out as a survey since there would be no anonymity with a focus group.<\/p>\n III. Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness Committee Charge \u2013 Core Indicators Goal 2.4 \u2013 change frequency of data collection to every year from every three years.<\/p>\n Goal 3.2 – Pluralism \u2013 International Students \u2013 remove<\/p>\n Other Core Indicators will remain as they were.<\/p>\n The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n The next AIE Committee will be on Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. in ADM 130.<\/p>\n Current AIE membership<\/strong><\/p>\n Margaret M. \n<\/strong>Nothing new to report. Michael, Jim, and Margaret will be attending the annual Middle States conference, Dec. 6 \u2013 8.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Student Advisement Satisfaction survey \u2013 Student survey has been sent out. Close to 200 surveys have been completed.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Agreement was reached on several changes to Core Indicators.<\/p>\n
