We&#8217;ll have door prizes, boxed lunches, and book\u00a0vendors. We&#8217;ll also\u00a0have a donation\u00a0box handy for the college&#8217;s Food Pantry, so bring your non-perishable food products.<\/p>\n<p>Detailed program information, workshop descriptions, and\u00a0registration\u00a0options can be found\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/facultyworkshop\/program.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. Robinson<\/strong><br \/>\nNational Director of The Democracy Commitment (TDC), a non-partisan national organization dedicated to advancing civic engagement and democracy in America&#8217;s community colleges<\/p>\n<p>Verdis was a tenured assistant professor of history and African-American studies at Monroe Community College.
