Men\u2019s and women\u2019s bowling team members<\/strong> participated in their final conference match of the season on Friday, Feb. 9 in South Glens Falls. The men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams both finished second in the match standings. The teams both finished second in the overall conference standings as well. The men\u2019s team finished with an overall 26-4 conference match record and the women finished with a 17-7 conference match record.<\/p>\n Donald Baker<\/strong> and Spencer McClellan<\/strong> earned all-conference honors as they both finished inside the top six in the final overall standings. In 18 matches, Baker placed third with an overall game average of 211.61 and McClellan finished sixth with an overall game average of 207.33. Baker also bowled a 299 high-game on Friday, the best individual score among the Vikings team this season.<\/p>\n Kyla Day<\/strong> and Gina Particelli<\/strong> also earned all-conference honors as they placed inside the top-six of the final women\u2019s standings. Day earned a fifth place finish as she bowled an overall game average of 198.11 in 18 conference matches. Patricelli placed sixth overall with an overall average of 192 in 18 matches.<\/p>\n Upcoming bowling schedule:<\/strong>\u00a0Sunday, Feb. 18 — NJCAA Region 3 Tournament<\/p>\n Men\u2019s basketball (10-13)<\/strong> had their six-game win streak snapped on Saturday as they fell to North Country, 89-84. The Vikings fell behind early but fought their way back in the second half, trailing by one point for most of the final 15 minutes of the game.\u00a0Dave Reo led the Vikings with 22 points and Raheem Duncan added 15 points.<\/p>\n The men also played Thursday, Feb. 9 and defeated Clinton, 83-60, on the road. Reo led the Vikings with 17 points and extended their win streak to six straight.<\/p>\n Upcoming Games:<\/strong> Wednesday, Feb. 14 vs. Columbia-Greene (7 p.m.); Saturday, Feb. 17 at Mohawk Valley (3 p.m.)<\/p>\n Women\u2019s basketball (15-8)<\/strong> also went 1-1 last week and had their own six-game win streak snapped on Saturday, Feb. 10 as they lost to North Country, 78-58. The Vikings entered the final quarter tied 49-49, but North Country opened the final quarter on a 20-2 run and Hudson Valley couldn\u2019t overcome the deficit.
