{"id":10846,"date":"2018-04-17T12:49:32","date_gmt":"2018-04-17T16:49:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/important-change-to-our-hiring-process\/"},"modified":"2018-04-17T12:49:32","modified_gmt":"2018-04-17T16:49:32","slug":"important-change-to-our-hiring-process","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/important-change-to-our-hiring-process\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Change to our Hiring Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>HR Memorandum<\/p>\n<p>April 17, 2018<\/p>\n<p>Update to the Search Process<\/p>\n<p>Effective April 17, 2018, all departments looking to fill a vacant position, create a new position or request a job classification review, will need to complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/secure\/staff\/hr\/search\/position-justification-request.pdf\">Position Justification Request Form<\/a> prior to submitting a Request for Search form.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/secure\/staff\/hr\/search\/position-justification-request.pdf\">Position Justification Request Form<\/a> will be used to provide the organizational justification for filling a vacant position, to create a new position or to request a job classification review.<\/p>\n<p>Please forward the form and an up-to-date job description (contact Human Resources if you need a copy) to the dean or department head for approval.
