{"id":10869,"date":"2018-04-19T13:23:19","date_gmt":"2018-04-19T17:23:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/revised-process-for-filling-a-job-vacancy\/"},"modified":"2018-04-19T13:23:19","modified_gmt":"2018-04-19T17:23:19","slug":"revised-process-for-filling-a-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/revised-process-for-filling-a-job-vacancy\/","title":{"rendered":"Revised process for filling a job vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>HR Memorandum<br \/>\nApril 19, 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update to the Search Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Effective immediately, all departments looking to fill a vacant position, create a new position or request a job classification review, will need to complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/secure\/staff\/hr\/search\/position-justification-request.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Position Justification Request Form<\/strong><\/a> and attach it to the Request for Search paperwork.<\/p>\n<p>The Position Justification Request Form will be used to provide the organizational justification for filling a vacant position, to create a new position or to request a job classification review.<\/p>\n<p>Please forward both forms and an up-to-date job description (contact Human Resources if you need a copy) to the dean or department head for approval.
