The emphasis is on motors and controls found in HVAC equipment.\u00a0Classroom and lab time each week will include lectures and discussions. Reading assignments will be given from the textbook.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Upon completion of the course, you will be able to discuss and demonstrate a working knowledge of:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Series and parallel circuits<\/li>\n<li>Various electrical meters<\/li>\n<li>Schematic symbols and diagrams<\/li>\n<li>AC and DC circuits<\/li>\n<li>Electric motors<\/li>\n<li>Electrical installation practices<\/li>\n<li>Contactors and relays<\/li>\n<li>Electrical control devices<\/li>\n<li>Solid state controls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each participant will receive a training certificate of completion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong>\u00a0Minimum 10th grade reading, writing and math skill levels.
