{"id":11263,"date":"2018-08-09T12:06:06","date_gmt":"2018-08-09T16:06:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/adventure-challenge-is-friday-aug-10\/"},"modified":"2018-08-09T12:06:06","modified_gmt":"2018-08-09T16:06:06","slug":"adventure-challenge-is-friday-aug-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/adventure-challenge-is-friday-aug-10\/","title":{"rendered":"Adventure Challenge is Friday, Aug. 10!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hello Adventure Challenge participants!!<\/p>\n<p>Just a reminder that everyone who registered should meet at the McDonough Sports Complex lobby at 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 10!<\/p>\n<p>Water\u00a0WILL BE provided!<\/p>\n<p>In response to questions about proper attire for the Adventure Challenge, here are some suggestions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows unrestricted movement.<\/li>\n<li>Shorts are acceptable, however nylon shorts are discouraged.<\/li>\n<li>Sneakers, running shoes, or light\u00a0hiking shoes will work. No open-toed shoes or sandals. Please note that sneakers are required inside.<\/li>\n<li>People who wear glasses and\/or contact lenses should take precautions they\u00a0normally would take when actively involved. Wearing an eyeglass safety strap will help\u00a0protect your glasses.<\/li>\n<li>Please avoid bringing any jewelry\/valuables while participating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If anyone has any\u00a0further questions, please feel free to reach out to the Human Resources.
