The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on July 10. The meeting minutes are as follows:<\/p>\n
Dr. Geehan opened the meeting at 1 p.m. She reported that there was no update on Middle States. Dr. Green summarized his experience speaking with incoming President Dr. Ramsammy about Institutional Assessment activities at the college. He relayed that Dr. Ramsammy expressed his feelings about the importance of the Assessment function and the need for information-based decision making. He commented that the Assessment arm of the college will play an important role in helping to inform the college\u2019s future actions.<\/p>\n
The committee returned to the task of assessing progress at Hudson Valley against the SUNY SCoA Effectiveness Rubric.\u00a0 It was agreed that we were at the following levels of compliance with the rubric:<\/p>\n
Implementation<\/strong> Impact<\/strong> The group then shifted to a discussion of Core Indicator #3 – Pluralism.
