{"id":11476,"date":"2018-09-27T11:59:13","date_gmt":"2018-09-27T15:59:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/assessment-and-institutional-effectiveness-aie-committee-minutes-3\/"},"modified":"2018-09-27T11:59:13","modified_gmt":"2018-09-27T15:59:13","slug":"assessment-and-institutional-effectiveness-aie-committee-minutes-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/assessment-and-institutional-effectiveness-aie-committee-minutes-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on Sept. 11, 2018 at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Geehan opened the meeting at 1 p.m. with a goal of reviewing the Core Indicators (CIs) to determine as a committee which were appropriate to keep and which should be removed or modified.\u00a0 The following agreements were reached:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 CI #1 \u2013 add all two-year SUNY colleges for comparison. Include regional and peers also.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Combine 1.3 Transfer Rate with 1.5 Transfer and job placement rate.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Add Schenectady to Table 2.3.2.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Consider a \u201cN\/A\u201d choice for question 1.7.2 for existing employees.<\/p>\n<p>Review of CIs, starting with Student Satisfaction \u2013 2.4, will continue at the next meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The next meeting was scheduled for Sept. 25, with the following schedule for Fall 2018: Oct. 9, Oct. 23, Nov. 6, Nov. 27 and Dec. 11.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Current AIE Members<\/strong><br \/>\nMargaret M.
