The Workforce Development Institute is offering a Security Guard 8-hour Annual In-Service<\/strong>\u00a0training class beginning Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018<\/strong>.\u00a0This is a 8-hour course that must be completed within 12 calendar months of becoming licensed, and annually thereafter!<\/p>\n The course provides the student with updated and enhanced information on the duties and responsibilities of a security guard. Topics covered in this course include the Role of the Security Guard, Legal Powers and Limitations, Emergency Situations, Communications and Public Relations, Access Control, Ethics and Conduct.<\/p>\n Security Guard 8-hour Annual In-Service\u00a0<\/strong> Prerequisites:<\/strong>\u00a0Applicants must be 18 years of age, must not have been convicted of a serious criminal offense, and must be a citizen or resident alien of the United States.
