Human Resources is contracting with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trakstar.com\/go\/performance-management-software-2\/?utm_term=trakstar&amp;utm_campaign=647425403&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;gclid=EAIaIQobChMI45_lvKui3gIVQ-DICh0BHgUHEAAYASAAEgJEAPD_BwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trakstar<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>to support the employee evaluation process at Hudson Valley Community College.<\/p>\n<p>The college&#8217;s evaluation process was long overdue for updating and this is a new tool that is easy for both the evaluator and the employee to use. We will work together to iron out the bumps of rolling out a new software.<\/p>\n<p>Some benefits of Trakstar:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>manages all aspects of employee performance<\/li>\n<li>improves communications between managers and employees<\/li>\n<li>tracks goals and competencies that can be used for succession planning<\/li>\n<li>creates individual goals to support the college\u2019s strategic plan<\/li>\n<li>facilitates a consistent and fair appraisal process<\/li>\n<li>eliminates the &#8220;paper chase&#8221; and reduces waste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The goal is to begin training in Trakstar in November, starting with excluded NTPs.
