Plug into a new career today! <\/strong><\/p>\n Students enrolled in Hudson Valley Community College\u2019s Workforce Development Institute will now be able to take solar training courses at reduced fees<\/strong> thanks to a $25,000 investment from Cypress Creek Renewables. This investment will help provide reduced course fees for students interested in solar job training, with a focus on bringing more women, veterans and underrepresented people<\/strong> into the industry.\u00a0This course provides the necessary foundation in electricity needed for the Photovoltaics (PV) field and is eligible for funding.<\/strong><\/p>\n WDI has a training course that covers critical entry-level electrical skills.<\/strong><\/p>\n ELECTRICAL WIRING: Principles and Practices<\/strong> Meeting Dates and Times<\/strong> Tuition The course content includes the following critical topics: performing basic electrical tasks, recognizing distinguishing characteristics of electrical systems and applying design principles and calculations for electrical distribution systems.
