\n<\/strong>Hudson Valley’s men’s basketball team (7-0) remains undefeated after defeating Ulster, 97-88, on Tuesday evening in the McDonough Sports Complex.\u00a0Caleb Canty<\/strong>\u00a0(Hudson\/Hudson) had a strong night as he led the Vikings with 28 points on 11-for-18 from the floor. Canty also accumulated four rebounds, five assists and two steals to keep the Vikings rolling by their opponents this season.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Hudson Valley’s women’s basketball team (4-1) outscored Ulster, 45-17, in the second half and recorded an 80-36 win on Tuesday evening in the McDonough Sports Complex.\u00a0Hannah Kreiger<\/strong>\u00a0(Brunswick\/Tamarac) led all scorers with 18 points and added seven rebounds, five assists and two steals as she guided Hudson Valley to their fourth win of the season.\u00a0Caitlin Estes<\/strong>\u00a0(Scotia\/Scotia-Glenville) nearly recorded a double-double in her first game of the season and finished with 17 points with eight rebounds.<\/p>\n
