The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host a 10-week Embracing Diversity Training for faculty and staff beginning in February 2019. The training is voluntary and will include themes such as:
\n— What is Diversity?
\n— Microaggressions
\n— Implicit Bias
\n— Difficult Conversations
\n— Identity Development<\/p>\n

Participants will review and discuss the book \u201cWhy Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria\u201d by Beverly Daniel Tatum. (Text will be provided.)<\/p>\n

\nMarch 6, 13, 20, 27
\nApril 3, 10, 17
\nTime<\/strong>:
\n8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
