There is a new feature in Blackboard that allows students to upload assignment files directly from their cloud storage.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-91658 \" src=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/attach_cloud.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"637\" height=\"340\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This feature does not affect those who\u00a0use Turnitin assignments.<\/p>\n<p>For faculty who use Blackboard Assignments here are some tips:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 When adding files from cloud storage, the system makes a copy of the files in the course. These files are not linked to the user\u2019s cloud. This means that files that are updated in the cloud are not updated in the course. This is true for assignments and faculty content.<\/p>\n<p>2. Currently, assignments submitted from cloud storage, such as Google Drive, use native files that cannot be previewed for in-line grading. These types of files must be\u00a0downloaded and viewed outside of Blackboard.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-91657 \" src=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/assignment_upload.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"727\" height=\"241\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3.
