Please encourage your students to attend “Speed Databasing!”<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Feb. 14\u00a0 at 2 p.m., the Dwight Marvin Library will host \u201cSpeed Databasing,\u201d a program patterned after a Speed Dating event.<\/p>\n

Students will have the chance to speak with librarians and library staff in 3-4 minute sessions. Each librarian or staff member will represent a database which students may access via the Marvin Library website. The program is designed to both broaden students’ awareness of the many research resources at their disposal and to introduce library staff to students in a friendly and casual manner.<\/p>\n

Please encourage students to attend the event. Students who attend may request a certificate of participation if you permit extra credit for attending.<\/p>\n
