{"id":12207,"date":"2019-03-04T13:10:34","date_gmt":"2019-03-04T18:10:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/important-graduation-deadlines-23\/"},"modified":"2019-03-04T13:10:34","modified_gmt":"2019-03-04T18:10:34","slug":"important-graduation-deadlines-23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/important-graduation-deadlines-23\/","title":{"rendered":"Important graduation deadlines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spring 2019 and Summer 2019 Degree\/Certificate Application Deadlines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a reminder that the degree\/certificate application deadlines for Spring 2019 and Summer 2019 graduation are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Spring 2019 \u2014 Friday, March 29, 2019<br \/>\nSummer 2019 \u2014 Friday, June 14, 2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 If a student plans on graduating either in May or August, a completed degree\/certificate application must be submitted to the Registrar\u2019s Office by the appropriate deadline as noted above.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Please note that a completed degree\/certificate application requires department chairperson\/advisor signature.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Applications received after the noted date will be considered for graduation for the following semester (i.e., a spring application received on March 30 will be considered a Summer 2019 application and a summer application received on June 15 will be considered a Fall 2019 application).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Important Note: Summer 2019 graduates are invited to the May Commencement ceremony. This will be the only commencement ceremony that you can attend.
