\n<\/strong>The lacrosse team advanced to the NJCAA Region 3 Championship after defeating Tompkins Cortland, 12-8, on May 1. The Vikings championship appearance is their first since 2012. Unfortunately, the Vikings were defeated by Genesee on May 4 in the 3B Championship match.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>The baseball program dropped two tough games to No. 4 Herkimer last week before getting back on track with a weekend sweep of Jefferson. The Vikings are in the home stretch as they have games Tuesday, May 7 (at Fulton-Montgomery) before the NJCAA Region 3 Sub-Regional round on May 11-12.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>The track and field programs were off last week as they prepare for this week\u2019s NJCAA National Championships beginning Thursday, May 9 in Utica, NY.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>The golf program had one last tune-up before the NJCAA Region 3 Tournament at the Genesee Invitational on May 5. The Vikings only traveled two golfers as they attempted to reach a sub-90 score. Nathan Fankhanel (89) and Anthony Bisognano (82) both reached their goal and qualified for the regional tournament beginning May 12.<\/p>\n
