U.S. Representative Paul Tonko will hold a Town Hall meeting on Climate Change from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today in the McDonough Sports Complex Field House.<\/p>\n

All are welcome to attend to hear more about Tonko’s work on comprehensive national climate action, to share your climate experiences and to ask any climate-related questions you may have. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Calvin Bordas, a senior at Schuylerville High School, will introduce the Congressman. Bordas, who attends the Clean Technologies and Sustainable Industries Early College High School<\/a> program offered at TEC-SMART in partnership with the Ballston Spa Central School District, has earned 30 college credits on the Clean Energy pathway.<\/p>\n

Bonnie Cook, an adjunct faculty member in the English, Foreign Languages and English as a Second Language Department, also will speak. Cook is a certified Climate Reality Leader who recently trained with former Vice President and Noble Laureate Al Gore. She presented a talk —\u00a0The Climate Crisis: Must we change? Can we change? Will<\/em> we change? — as part of the Spring 2019 Voices: A Library Lecture Series.<\/p>\n
