Bring your own chair or blanket and claim a spot on the lawn in front of the Earl Chapel.<\/p>\n<p>Children (and the young at heart) will have the opportunity to conduct the 60-piece band\u2019s final march. Strawberry shortcake will be available for purchase.<\/p>\n<p>The only entrance open for this event will be the 186 Oakwood Avenue gate. In case of rain, the concert will be cancelled. (Check &#8220;Friends of Oakwood Cemetery&#8221; on Facebook for updates.)<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming events are the Celtic Crosses Tour on Saturday, July 13 and a Twilight\/Full Moon tour on Tuesday, July 16. More information to come.<\/p>\n<p>The Friends of Oakwood is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer group that supports the preservation of the non-sectarian, still-active 19th century Oakwood Cemetery.
