Both Fraley and Rafferty also are Monserrat College of Art alumni.<\/p>\n<p>The reception marked the opening of &#8220;Inspired Views,&#8221; an exhibition that included work by both Fracalossi and Lail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/TTexhibit.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-97525\" src=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/TTexhibit-450x337.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><em>Professor Thomas Lail, Alumna Cassaundra Fraley, Alumna<br \/>\nValerie Rafferty, and Associate Professor Tara Fracalossi<\/em><\/p>\n<p>While attending the opening reception for Dana Hoey\u2019s exhibition at Petzel Gallery in New York City, Fracalossi and Lail had a surprise reunion with Fine Arts Alumnus Kevin Mosca (2015), who is currently working at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidzwirner.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zwirner Gallery<\/a> in Chelsea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/TaraAlum.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-97529\" src=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/TaraAlum.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"321\" height=\"475\" \/><\/a><em>Alumus Kevin Mosca and Fracalossi<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Fine Arts Alumna Andrea LaRose (2013) was recently awarded a two-month residency at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sculpturespace.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sculpture Space<\/a> in Utica, NY. Sculpture Space is unique in North America for its service to sculptors who come to Utica to make new work. Artists-in-residence have access to specialized resources available in the Mohawk Valley to make sculpture on a scale which they otherwise might not afford, in a supportive environment conducive to experimentation.<\/p>\n<p>Fine Arts Alumna Madison LaVallee has new work included in the current exhibition at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewiredgallery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wired Gallery<\/a> in High Falls, NY.<\/p>\n<p>Fine Arts alumna Jeannie Sotansky (2015) has new work on view at <a href=\"https:\/\/spectrawired.com\/wired-gallery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spectra Wired Cafe<\/a> in Hartford, CT.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Published:<\/strong>\u00a0Thu, 18 Jul 2019 12:00:12 +0000 by\u00a0d.gardner<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Fine Arts Professor Thom Lail shared career notes on several alumni from that department.
