\n<\/strong>Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3, the CAAT will continue to have extended hours during the academic semester. These extended hours give students, faculty and staff an opportunity to utilize our adaptive computer lab, receive training on the assistive technology, testing accommodations and to provide evening students and faculty access to our services.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>The following brochures are available: Center for Access and Assistive Technology, Deaf and Hard of Hearing,\u00a0and Policies & Guidelines for Alternative Testing Services.<\/em> Please contact us at (518) 629-7154 and we will mail them to you. These publications provide helpful information for college faculty and staff, to ensure access to college programs and activities for individuals with disabilities.<\/p>\n
\nThere are currently 105 handicapped spaces throughout the campus. Locations are:<\/p>\n\n
\n<\/strong>The CAAT has seven electric scooters available on loan for students, staff and faculty use, based on individual needs and documented disabilities.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Please contact the Distance Learning Department in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center (BTC), room 1042, or phone, (518) 629-7070, if you have any questions regarding adjustment of settings within Blackboard to provide accommodations. Please utilize the Ally Tool<\/a> within Blackboard to ensure accessibility of content in Blackboard for your students. The CAAT and the Distance Learning Department work collaboratively to support both faculty and student needs with reasonable accommodations.<\/p>\n
