OneSearch combines searching for books, media, articles, and more in one convenient location. The <a href=\"https:\/\/library.hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">library website<\/a> is now simpler with two primary pages: OneSearch (including links to all research databases and subject guides) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/library\/help\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Get Help<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Loan periods for print books and DVDs have been extended and most items are fine-free. Reserve textbooks continue to be loaned for use in the library only; overdue fines apply. Requesting items from other libraries is simple. Sign in to OneSearch and request items from other SUNY libraries or request that Dwight Marvin Library items for pick-up from the first floor service desk.<\/p>\n<p>Fifteen group study rooms can be reserved using <a href=\"https:\/\/libcal.hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the online reservation system<\/a>; two additional spaces are available for faculty use and can be reserved online. Stop by the library to see what&#8217;s new, including Babble, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/library\/atrium.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> current exhibit<\/a> on display in the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Atrium.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stay tuned for details about events scheduled this year in celebration of the Marvin Library Learning Commons 50th anniversary.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Contact <a href=\"mailto:b.hazard@hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brenda Hazard<\/a>, library director, with comments or suggestions about library services.
