He was formerly the president of School Performance, a New York-based organization helping schools maximize student achievement, and also a founder and former principal of The Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter School, a high-achieving charter school in Boston.<\/p>\n<p>During his three-hour session, Lemov will cover strategies from his book, -Teach Like a Champion: 49 Techniques That Put Students on the Path to College,- published by Jossey-Bass Teacher.<\/p>\n<p>The program is co-sponsored by the college-s Teacher Preparation department and the Tinsley Institute for Human Services.
