Capital District of New York Chapter \u2013 AUSA Members and Friends,<\/p>\n
In order to meet our 2019 Chapter goal to support the Wreaths Across America campaign at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, N.Y, we need your help.\u00a0 Last year the Chapter assisted other groups in assuring that ALL Veteran and family member gravesites at the cemetery were decorated as a remembrance of their service to America.<\/p>\n
As we did last year, for every wreath donated under on the Chapters\u2019 site, the Chapter will receive $5. Since we are the sole provider of the American Flags used at the cemetery for Memorial Day, this money is used specifically to support the purchase of American Flags that either need to be replaced or purchased for new interments. For Memorial Day 2018, the Chapter spent over $2,500 for this project, so when you donate wreaths, you are donating to two projects that recognize those that have ensured our Freedoms! Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!<\/p>\n
