Culinary historian\u00a0Lavada Nahon\u00a0compares the depiction of Mount Vernon with the unique food culture of colonial New York.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fire and Freedom: Food and Enslavement in Early America&#8221; is a traveling exhibit from the National Library of Medicine on display in the Marvin Library Learning Commons from through Saturday, Feb. 15.
