Workshop sessions will be facilitated by\u00a0leaders and educators in STEM professions.<\/p>\n<p>Girls in STEM is sponsored by Hudson Valley Community College and the Center for Economic Growth and the many dedicated partners hosting this year\u2019s workshops.<\/p>\n<p>Workshop topics include: Designing for All (Kennason ); Architectural Styles and Design (CS Arch); A Playful Introduction to Programming (HVCC ); Let\u2019s Relax and Cool Down! Code a Temperature Sensor and Mini-Fan (Globalfoundries); \u201cSTEM and Sustainability-the Future is Brighter than You Think\u201d (WMHT); Space Technology (Mad Science of the Capital District); Let&#8217;s Create Fun Interactive Stories and Games! (SUNY Empire); Solar Rover (National Grid); and How Do I Pay for That?
