Bb\u00a0Learn 3400.0.3<\/strong><\/p>\n Here’s a short tip<\/strong><\/span> for faculty who set their announcements to go out simultaneously as emails to their students.\u00a0 If you re-use announcements from a previous semester, the\u00a0Blackboard\u00a0<\/em>system administrator, rather than the instructor, is listed as the author of the email.\u00a0 If your students reply to these emails, the replies will go to whoever is listed as the author of the announcement, in this case, the system administrator.\u00a0 To make sure that student replies go to you<\/strong><\/em>, simply open the announcement for editing, and then select the\u00a0Submit\u00a0<\/strong>button.\u00a0 You don’t need to make changes to the announcement– when you open the announcement,\u00a0Blackboard\u00a0<\/em>will list you as the author of the announcement, and student replies to that announcement will go instead to you.<\/p>\n Use the following link<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0to download a printable version of this Bb<\/em> tip of the week:\u00a0Download the\u00a0Tip<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n
