To enroll, follow the 14 steps below.
\n1. Go to the HVCC web page at www.hvcc.edu
\n2. On the far right, click on the drop-down menu for \u201cI am a . . . Student\u201d
\n3. In the center of your screen, click on \u201cMyHudsonValley Portal \/ Blackboard\u201d
\n4. Log in with your HVCC \u201cUsername\u201d and \u201cPassword\u201d
\n5. On the far right, click on the word \u201cCommunity\u201d
\n6. Under \u201cInstructional Support.\u201d click on the word \u201cWriting\u201d
\n7. On the left, click on the words \u201cClick here to enroll\u201d
\n8. On the left again, click on the word \u201cEnroll\u201d to confirm
\n9. On the far right, click on \u201cSubmit\u201d
\n10. On the bottom right, Click on \u201cOK\u201d to continue to the course
\n11.\u00a0 On the left, click on the tabs for various information about writing
\n12. To receive feedback on a piece of writing, click on the tab \u201cSubmit a Paper for Review\u201d
\n13. At the top of the page, follow the directions for \u201cHow to Submit a Paper for Review\u201d
\n14. Near the bottom of the page, follow the directions \u201cTo Retrieve Comments\u201d<\/p>\n
\u25cf After you enroll in \u201cThe Learning Centers \u2013 Writing,\u201d you may take advantage of the third option: you may have a video conversation with a Writing Specialist by clicking on the tab that says \u201cClick here to speak with a Writing Specialist via Zoom.\u201d Next, you should see a list of Meeting Rooms, and you can click on \u201cJoin\u201d to enter a Zoom Meeting with a Writing Specialist.<\/p>\n
