{"id":14641,"date":"2020-08-26T12:00:12","date_gmt":"2020-08-26T16:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/fine-arts-faculty-guest-curate-two-exhibits-at-art-space-established-by-an-alumna\/"},"modified":"2020-08-26T12:00:12","modified_gmt":"2020-08-26T16:00:12","slug":"fine-arts-faculty-guest-curate-two-exhibits-at-art-space-established-by-an-alumna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/fine-arts-faculty-guest-curate-two-exhibits-at-art-space-established-by-an-alumna\/","title":{"rendered":"Fine Arts faculty guest curate two exhibits at art space established by an alumna"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Professor Thomas Lail and Associate Professor Tara Fracalossi, faculty members in the Department of Fine Arts, Theater Arts and Digital Medai, recently curated two, consecutive exhibitions at Second Street Studios, located at 68 Second St. in downtown Troy.<\/p>\n<p>Second Street Studios is a project of Hudson Valley Fine Arts aluma <a href=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/fine-arts-alumna-profiled-in-capny-creatives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Drea LaRose<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Daily Briefing&#8221; features the work of 10 artists, including five alumni of Hudson Valley\u2019s Fine Arts and Digital Media programs: Carla Dortic, Maya Lewis, Arnela Mahmutovic, Joel Olzak, and Nancy Welsh. This exhibit closes Thursday, Aug. 27 following a month-long run.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Welcome to the Future&#8221; opens Friday, Aug. 28 and will be on view through the end of September.
