The Foundation will host a GivingTuesday Holiday Fundraising Drive this year with two goals: to raise $20,000 and to provide 100 families with a holiday meal as well.<\/p>\n

We hope you will be able to support our efforts, because we need your help. Here are several ways that you can get involved.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Give! <\/strong>On or before Dec. 1, visit www.hvcc.edu\/giving<\/a> to donate.<\/li>\n
  2. Volunteer\u00a0<\/strong>to donate time assisting with our events which include: holiday meal item drop-off (Nov. 16 – 20), meal bag assembly (Nov. 23 & 24), or meal bag distribution (Dec. 1). Please contact Jana Putzig (j.putzig@hvcc.edu<\/a>) if you can spend an hour or two to help.<\/li>\n
  3. Donate an item <\/strong>to our GivingTuesday Holiday Meal Drive during the drive-thru donation drop-off days. Simply drop off your items at the Hudson Valley clock tower (accessible by entering campus on Holliday Drive) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 16 through Friday, Nov. 20. Donations of the following items will help us reach our goal:
    \n\u2022\u00a0 Gravy
    \n\u2022\u00a0 Boxed mashed potatoes
    \n\u2022\u00a0 Cranberry sauce
    \n\u2022\u00a0 Stuffing
    \n\u2022\u00a0 Canned vegetables
    \n\u2022\u00a0 Boxed desserts
    \n\u2022\u00a0 Baby items: food, snacks, diapers (all sizes), wipes, shampoo, powder and lotion<\/li>\n
  4. Spread the word. <\/strong>Encourage your friends and family to join you in creating a real impact as we count down to GivingTuesday by sharing what our mission means to you and why you support our organization. Make sure to use the hashtags: #GivingTuesday \u2022 #HVCCGives \u2022 #GiveBoldly, and to tag @hudsonvalleycc and @hvccalumni.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    By joining the GivingTuesday movement, you’re proving that in times of uncertainty, generosity can bring us all together. We’re looking forward to working with you to help build a stronger community this year.<\/p>\n
