Meeting links will be sent out via email confirmation.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Grade Center Videos:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hvcc.techsmithrelay.com\/3aQM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Introduction to Using the Blackboard Grade Center<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hvcc.techsmithrelay.com\/uJ84\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Blackboard Grade Center the Basics<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Winter 2021 Offerings<\/h3>\n<h4><strong>Online Instructor Boot Camp<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The online instructor boot camp workshop is \u201cthe classic\u201d condensed into a one-week Wed-Fri\/Mon-Wed two-hour long intensive session followed by a week to build the course. The training is best for faculty who will be teaching fully asynchronous (no set meeting time) online courses in the second Summer 2021 session or Fall 2021. You will learn tools and strategies in class sessions, and in between class sessions you build out your course. At the end of two weeks, the course is complete and it is reviewed with the OSCQR rubric for best practices. It is then sent to your DC for review and approval. This offering is ideal for those who are committed to spending a couple of weeks doing primarily online course building every day. If you have a tight schedule or lots on your plate, this will probably be too much to do in two weeks.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Training Dates:<\/strong><\/em> Daily from Jan. 6 through Jan. 13, 2021, with a week to build and a Jan. 21 SUNY Online Course Quality Review (OSCQR).
