I am pleased to announce that per the updated NYS DOH COVID-19 Vaccine Program guidance<\/a> all in-person, essential staff at the college are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at any State or Local Health Department operated vaccine site effective immediately<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This guidance includes all campus staff who are currently working in-person, regardless of job title or job function. Please note this expansion does not apply to anyone who is working 100% remotely.<\/strong><\/p>\n All employees who are currently working in-person, part- or full-time, are encouraged to schedule an appointment at a state vaccination site by utilizing New York’s “Am I Eligible?<\/a>” website or by calling the state’s COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline at 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829).<\/p>\n When registering for a vaccine appointment, please note that the current category of \u201cIn-person College Faculty and Instructors\u201d has been revised to include \u201cIn-Person College Faculty and Essential In-Person Staff.” See page 10 of the March 10 guidance linked in paragraph one above.<\/p>\n Eligible employees can also check the Capital Region Vaccine Hub<\/a> for links to vaccine clinics or other resources that may be available regionally or in their county of residence.<\/p>\n
