Celebrate Water Week<\/span><\/h3>\n

Please join DEC’s Division of Water in celebrating Water Week from May 9 to 15. For over 35 years, New York has set aside a full week in May to focus on its abundant water resources, highlight water issues and encourage stewardship. This year\u2019s theme is Clean Water for Everyone<\/em> to highlight the importance of clean water no matter where you live — city, suburb or countryside.<\/p>\n

Clean water is an asset to a community\u2019s health and economic vitality. The Division of Water is committed to protecting and restoring New York\u2019s waters in all areas of the state for all people, regardless of race, color, or income.<\/p>\n
