All three departments now offer services and support through the Help Desk portal at <a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/helpdesk.hvcc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A new Help Desk portal front page layout is now live to help you find the services you need from each department. Please also take note of the <a href=\"https:\/\/hvcc.teamdynamix.com\/TDClient\/1967\/Portal\/KB\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Knowledge Base<\/a> where you can find self-help tutorials and documentation. New articles are being added regularly!<\/p>\n<h4>What is TeamDynamix?<\/h4>\n<p>TeamDynamix is the college&#8217;s centralized technology ticketing system available to all faculty and staff. It is accessible through a web browser and allows you to submit ticket requests, track all your tickets, and browse the Knowledge Base for self-help tutorials.<\/p>\n<h4>What services and support does each department provide?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Information Technology Services<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ITS Help Desk<\/li>\n<li>Instructional Technology<\/li>\n<li>Videoconferencing<\/li>\n<li>Office365, Email, Calendaring, File Sharing and other collaboration tools<\/li>\n<li>Computer Hardware, Software and Student Printing<\/li>\n<li>Wired &amp; Wireless Network, Telephones and Voicemail<\/li>\n<li>Information Security<\/li>\n<li>Web Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Enterprise Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troubleshooting and resolving any problems encountered with Banner, Wired, BDM Xtender, Degree Works, CRM Advise, CRM Recruit and all other third-party products integrated with Banner<\/li>\n<li>Banner User Access Requests, both initial setup and modifications<\/li>\n<li>Set up or changes to processes and chains in AppWorx<\/li>\n<li>Requests for new programs and\/or Argos reports<\/li>\n<li>Set-up of access and training for Argos<\/li>\n<li>Review of specs for all third-party products and services that will integrate with Banner (An implementation timeline for any new products will be determined via consultation between EO team and functional product owner.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Distance &amp; Online Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Online and remote faculty training in instructional design and best practices<\/li>\n<li>Management and documentation of the student, faculty and programmatic needs for online, remote, hybrid and web-enhanced courses<\/li>\n<li>Successful deployment of the Blackboard learning management system and integrated tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How do I request services or support from a specific department?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/helpdesk.hvcc.edu<\/a> in any web browser.<\/li>\n<li>Locate the department&#8217;s highlight box on the front page and select &#8220;Browse Services &amp; Submit Tickets.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Select the service (or issue report) that you would like to open a ticket for. Make sure to read the service description thoroughly as many services require steps to be completed prior to opening a ticket.
