Current students who would like remote tutoring from the Learning Centers should complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/internal-students\/learningcenters-remote-tutoring-request.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Request for Remote Tutoring<\/a> form, and we will send you information on how to get connected to our remote support.<\/p>\n<p>In-person help is available in the lower level of the Marvin Library during the week for Math, Business\/Accounting, Writing, and for the Computer Learning Center.<\/p>\n<p>For questions related to Math and Business\/Accounting in-person support, please contact Tasha Taylor at <a href=\"mailto:t.taylor@hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">t.taylor@hvcc.edu<\/a> or call (518) 629-7230.<\/p>\n<p>For in-person Writing assistance, please make an appointment by contacting Norina Dowd at <a href=\"mailto:n.dowd@hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">n.dowd@hvcc.edu<\/a> or call (518) 629-7055.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>STAR-NY Online Tutoring<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Hudson Valley Community College students may also take advantage of an additional online tutoring service called STAR-NY. During summer session, this program is providing online tutoring for Math and Writing for enrolled students, and it is free!<\/p>\n<p>STAR-NY Math and Writing support will be available Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to midnight until August 26th.
