The meeting minutes follow.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Margaret Geehan opened the meeting at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Middle States<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Middle States website will be up and running for the public by the time the fall semester begins. This is a very important piece of the college\u2019s Middle States Self-Study, as it communicates with the external community as the process proceeds. The website will include a copy of the approved Self-Study Design document, the Institutional Priorities, committee charges, and other key pieces. Draft copies of the Self-Study itself will also be visible on the website, ensuring transparency and allowing feedback and input from external stakeholders, a vital and integral part of the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On August 23, the committee is planning to have a get-together for everyone involved in the Middle States process &#8212; the entire Core Team Working Groups, co-chairs of the Steering Committee and co-chairs of each Working Group. If all goes according to plan, the event will take place at noon in one of the BTC Meeting Rooms. Food will be provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Standard 7 needs a new co-chair to work with Ainsley Thomas because Joel Glickman had to step down for personal reasons. A replacement hasn\u2019t been found yet, but the search is active. It is important that the opening is filled by a faculty member.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kathy Petley offered a Compliance Team Update. There will be Verification of Compliance training webinar offered by Middle States as we get closer to the submission date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2.\u00a0 SUNY Student Satisfaction Survey (SSSS)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This survey is based on the SOS (Student Opinion Survey) from ACT that SUNY is required to administer every three years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The full results, including the comparisons with other SUNY community colleges, of the system-wide survey are not available yet, but the SSSS Summary (SSSSS or S5) of the SSSS is being revised with the SUNY-tailored items while waiting for the results and will be completed and distributed to the campus community as soon as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Margaret reminded the committee that the SSSS wasn&#8217;t administered in 2020 because SUNY mandated that we administer the SUNY COVID Impact Survey instead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Nuventive<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meg Mann noted that we are working with Nuventive to streamline certain processes, especially the Unit Plan, to make it easier to use. More updates are coming, but hopefully we will find the process to be better once the project is done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The face of the Nuventive website is being redesigned and hopefully we will find it to be more user friendly. The roll-out is planned for January 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4. Core Indicator Review<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The AIE handout was also reviewed in detail with screen share being used to show it to committee members. Two Core Indicator results were discussed: Health Science Licensure\/Certification Rates and Distance Learning numbers. The discussion included the possible impact of COVID on the data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5.
