<\/a>“I was moved to start IOU–It’s On Us by the courage Alex Bozarjian\u200b showed in confronting the man who assaulted her<\/a>. Many of my female friends have commented on being harassed while exercising. This knowledge and viewing the video of Ms. Bozarjian’s assault made it clear to me that sexual harassment of female athletes is not a women’s issue. It is a men’s issue. Men are the ones who do it. Men are the ones who must stop it. It is my hope that IOU–It’s On Us will encourage us, as men, to hold each other accountable for our actions, and promote the modeling of proper behavior for the boys in our lives.<\/p>\n
