The conversation will explore what the hearing can learn from the Deaf to become better listeners.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa Kate Adams-Silva, who teaches American Sign Language at HVCC, will moderate the panel that is part of Voices: A Library Lecture Series.<\/p>\n<p>This program will be \u201cAll Access\u201d CART and Sign Language with Voice Interpretation. A single mother who has Usher Syndrome, she and her daughter live in North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Patrick Harris<\/strong> (center)<br \/>\nHarris, born Deaf, studied automotive technology at a mainstream high school and earned a degree in social work from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He worked in social service programs for Deaf adults before becoming a Deaf interpreter in 2016. He lives in Vermont with his husband of 11 years and is an avid disc golf player.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Michael Anthony Spady<br \/>\n<\/strong>Spady is a Deaf actor who first appeared on stage at age nine. He grew up in New Rochelle, NY, and graduated from RIT with a degree in business.
