{"id":16995,"date":"2021-12-01T13:00:19","date_gmt":"2021-12-01T18:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/hvcc-foundation-announces-scholarship-finalists\/"},"modified":"2021-12-01T13:00:19","modified_gmt":"2021-12-01T18:00:19","slug":"hvcc-foundation-announces-scholarship-finalists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/hvcc-foundation-announces-scholarship-finalists\/","title":{"rendered":"HVCC Foundation Announces Scholarship Finalists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations\u00a0to the 34 students chosen as finalists during the fall 2021 scholarship cycle through the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation!<\/p>\n<p>Each finalist received an email on Nov. 19 with instructions that must be completed by Dec. 6, or the award may be given to an alternate candidate.<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks to the volunteers who assisted as members of the Scholarship Review Committee, and to the faculty and staff who provided letters of recommendation for student applicants.<\/p>\n<p>In all, more than 200 students will benefit this year from nearly $300,000 in scholarship support. The Foundation thanks the alumni and friends of the college whose generosity makes these scholarship awards possible.<\/p>\n<p>Questions may be emailed to <a href=\"mailto:scholarships@hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">scholarships@hvcc.edu<\/a>.
