Instead of looking at learning in a traditional \u201cpassive\u201d activity, we will be investigating and testing active and engaging learning processes such as \u201cscaffolded learning,\u201d the \u201cSocratic method\u201d and \u201cCognitive development.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Drawing from modern psychological learning theories such as Constructivism, Humanism and others, we will explore what it means to \u201clearn\u201d as opposed to \u201cremembering.\u201d Students will take away some new techniques to use in the classroom and in their daily lives.
