The Theatre Club will hold its first meeting Friday Feb. 11 from 2 to 3 p.m. The meeting will be held in the lobby of the Maureen Stapleton Theatre, which is located in the Siek Campus Center.<\/p>\n

All Hudson Valley Community College students are invited and welcome to join the Theatre Club, a student-run organization under the advisement of club advisor, Prof. Julie Demers. The club will be looking for a club president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.<\/p>\n

In the past, the club has practiced theater warm-ups and performed improv activities, as well as run bake sales and held other fundraising efforts. In the spring semesters, the club has also produced a student-run, student-written original one-act play festival, which the HVCC campus community looked forward to.<\/p>\n
